The Fort St John Huskies have regained some of their momentum and took home 4 points  this last weekend. They played Dawson Creek on Friday night and suffered a 4 - 2 loss.  Scoring for the Huskies were Cody Hildebrand and Brighton Campbell. 

Saturday night they turned it around and beat the Sexsmith Vipers 4 - 0.  Scoring for the Huskies were Cody Hildebrand with a hat trick and Huskies captain Aaron Dendys.  Travis McLean got the shutout in net.

On Sunday it was the Huskies over the Beaverlodge Blades  7 - 5.  Aaron Dendys had 2 goals and singles went to Jordan Gies, Logan Daneluk, Robbie Sidhu, Dylan Houle and Cody Hildebrand. 

The Huskies next action will be away on Friday night with a make up game in Sexsmith.

The annual Skate with the Huskies was held December 19th at the NP Arena.  A fun time was had by all! Thanks for coming out.  See you in January!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

The Huskies fell to the Vipers Saturday night at the NP Arena by a score of 7 - 5.  Scoring for the Huskies were Brighton Campbell with 2, Robbie Sidhu, Cash Brinkworth and Cory Langdon with singles.  The next game for the Huskies will be on Friday January  7th  against the Junior Canucks at the NP Arena.

The Huskies played in Fort St John on December 3rd against the Beaverlodge Blades and lost by a score of 7 - 1.  The lone FSJ scorer was Cole Calliou. 

December 4th the Huskies played the Peace River Navigators with the Navigators coming out ahead       9 - 5.  Scoring for Fort St John were Robbie Sidhu, Cole Calliou, Tyson Pedersen, Brighton Campbell and Connor Rose.

The Huskies Fill The Bus campaign was very successful on December 5th.  The Huskies and volunteers filled the bus with 20,400 LBS of non-perishable food items for the Salvation Army.   A BIG Thanks to all who helped.

December 6th saw the Huskies helping out at the Senior's Christmas Supper at the Pomeroy Inn.  Thanks to Captain Aaron Dendys, Cash Brinkworth, Brighton Campbell, Tyson Pedersen, Dayne Pedersen, Travis MacLean, David Green and Cory Langdon. 

December 10th the Huskies suffered another loss while in Grande Prairie 11 - 2 .  Scoring for the Huskies were Robbie Sidhu and Cole Calliou.

December 11th  the Huskies travelled south to their longtime rivals Dawson Creek and the outcome was Dawson Creek 5, Fort St John 2.  Scoring for the Huskies were Chris Sperling and Brighton Campbell.

This upcoming weekend will see the Huskies playing Sexsmith both Friday and Saturday night.  Friday night away and back here in Fort St John Saturday at 8 PM for the Huskies last regular season game of 2010.  Come on out and cheer the boys on.

Sunday December 19th,  the annual "Skate With the Huskies"  will be at the NP Arena from 2:30 to      4:30 PM.  Come on out and meet and skate with your favorite Huskie.  There will be prizes and refreshments.  See you there!
